About Legacy Of Literacy, Inc.
Legacy of Literacy, Inc. is a Michigan-based nonprofit organization founded to promote a love of reading and increase access to high-quality books for children and families. Established by educator and community leader Mrs. Alma Greer, Legacy of Literacy works in partnership with schools, churches, businesses, and community organizations to deliver literacy experiences that uplift readers of all ages.
​Through read-aloud events, book giveaways, and collaborative literacy initiatives, we encourage children, families, and community members to view reading as an essential tool for learning, connection, and opportunity.
